Always on the forefront of trends -- both sartorial and digital -- Intermix announced the launch of its new blog, "Beyond Best Dressed," today. The chain of boutiques, who can always be counted on to carry the most up to date trends and coolest new collections in its impecably curated spaces, is counting on the editorial space to allow its customers to connect with the world of Intermix. "Consistent with our sharp edit, the blog is a mix of stylish inspiration from around the globe, but with a localized feel," said Intermix ceo Khajak Keledjian. "An extension of the Intermix lifestyle, 'Beyond Best Dressed' lets our customers experience our brand and stay connected to our latest discoveries."

The blog will be updated on a daily basis by a the company's social media manager as well as employees from the buying office and its 24 boutiques.

Categories on the new space will include a "In the Mix With..." section which will house designer profiles, a Get to Know the Intermix girls feature, Look of the Week and a customer spotlight feature. City Chic will feature cultural advice targeted towards various markets with correspondents reporting from those cities.

Other features include a "What's Trending" section reporting runway trends, fashion news and the latest from the Twitterverse, as well as a culture inspired section called "Inspiring Intermix" which will feature inspirations ranging from art, design, photography and film. The rest of the blog offers fashion advice from stylists, behind the scenes photos, street style, healthy and beauty tips and even a section targeted to men -- this one called Handsome Hints offers a male perspective on fashion.
