But the lunch buffet at Il Pellicano is just as good. Every day I have to eat at least a dozen of these tiny eggplants they serve stuffed with tuna. In the morning, for breakfast, they come to the table and grind your breakfast cereal from fresh grain. I’ve never seen that before, and I’m thinking about bringing it back to New York, along with a wheel of sheep’s milk cheese and maybe some salamis.
