De Niro’s Glindi’s "got the hottest boots anyone’s ever seen," while Magnuson’s Lolasha "is more the Mrs. Robinson type, a sophisticate in capri pants and a monocle."
Scharf hopes the show will become a series with a line of clothes based on designs for the show. Of course, there could be a few looks that might not work on Earth.
"The Groovenians wear Saturn rings that hover without touching the skin," Scharf says. "I’m not sure how you’d make something that defies gravity, but I’m sure, here in Hollywood, someone can figure it out."
