Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher

Ashton’s Wandering Eye? * Mama Hurley * A Royal Halloween

Demi Moore might want to think about shortening the leash she has on her young hottie, Ashton Kutcher. This week he showed up at Cielo, the trendy downtown nightclub, with a group of actors from “That 70s Show,” but that’s not Demi’s problem. What her problem could be is the young pretty blonde that was all over Ashton. They made quite a display of themselves in a dark corner. Demi was nowhere in sight. Naturally, Ashton was instantly recognized no matter how far he kept pulling down his poorboy cap. When you think it over, if you’re going to fool around, don’t do it in a room filled with fashionistas and models, like, for instance, Karolina Kurkova and others of that persuasion.

Elton John and his partner, filmmaker David Furnish, celebrated the 10th anniversary of their friendship Thursday in London by spending a quiet private evening together. It was another story entirely last Sunday when Elton gave a riotous lunch at Harry’s Bar to celebrate David’s 41st birthday. Harry’s closed up shop in honor of the occasion and Elton invited 60 of David’s friends to dip into mushroom risotto and sea bass as he led the throng in singing “Happy Birthday” while a towering vanilla cake was carried in. Among those raising their voices in song were Cornelia Guest, who flew in especially for the occasion wearing a beautifully cut Dior blazer and bringing shirts for the guest of honor; Hugh Grant; Lily Safra; Stephen Daldry, who directed “The Hours”; Dior’s Hedi Slimane; and Elle MacPherson and Arki Busson, very much together in spite of a recent teeny-weeny blip in their relationship. Beautiful Daphne Guinness was there too, along with Isabella Blow, Sally Green, who runs the Old Vic, Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, Susannah Constantine, who hosts the British TV show “What Not to Wear” and bespoke tailor Richard James, who makes suits for Elton, Hugh and David and others of that ilk and stripe.
