Summer Daze

Every year, London's Serpentine Gallery throws its annual outdoor summer gala, and every year guests try to figure out what the heck the year's enormous installation is supposed to be.

Brigette Romanek was just relieved that the walls were standing. "We were literally putting up tile two hours before guests started arriving" she said. "What a perfect time to have a party — when your house is not at all done."

Meanwhile, in New York, Sienna Miller was playing the role of working girl, hitting fetes to promote her new film "Interview." She celebrated Mario Testino at a bash in his honor at the Gramercy Park Hotel on Tuesday, and the next night walked the red carpet at a Cinema Society screening of "Interview" held at the Tribeca Grand and sponsored by Dior Beauty. In the movie, Miller plays a spoiled starlet who spends a boozy and careless evening being interviewed by a rather uninterested journalist, played by Steve Buscemi. The celebs in attendance agreed that doing press wasn't exactly their favorite part of their job, and David Schwimmer had a specific gripe. "The questions" groaned the former "Friends" member. "Do you still talk to them? Is there really going to be a reunion?"
