NEW YORK — The bubbly combination of Catherine Malandrino and Veuve Clicquot brought lots of lovelies and fashion luminaries such as Dawn Mello, Peter Arnold and Patricia Field to an intimate dinner at the French designer’s new shop in the Meatpacking District, where the crowd feasted on seafood dishes by Josh DeChellis of Sumile. The venerable champagne house was feting Malandrino as a “grande dame.” The best part? A different vintage of Veuve with each course.
