The Pixie: It’s not a coif for the faint of heart. Good thing there’s no shortage of gutsy girls in Hollywood. The pixie and other boyish cuts have made a comeback on starlets like Michelle Williams, Carey Mulligan, Rihanna and Emma Watson, with Anne Hathaway the latest to snip her tresses. The fuss-free do has been around since the Twenties, but was popularized in the Sixties by Twiggy and Mia Farrow, spawning decades of devotees. Here, the short list.
