Hollywood heavyweights like Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro and Benicio Del Toro turned out for Lionsgate's Globe bash at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel, where a festive crowd partied Saturday night.
Eva Longoria Parker, Tobey Maguire and Martin Landau mingled at the well-attended soiree, where the mood was decidedly upbeat. The indoor area and bar were fully packed with entertainment insiders by 10 PM, January Jones, Gabourey Sidibe, Chyna Layne and "Precious" screenplay writer Geoffrey Fletcher.
"I love the energy here, this is a really positive feel for the start of a new year," said Longoria Parker. Even the underage set came out to celebrate - 11 year-old "Bridge to Terabithia" actress Bailee Madison gamely made the rounds, posing for photos and happily chatting with Longoria Parker. "My god, I must be getting old," said one partygoer who observed the youth set approach the DJ table on the brick patio outside. "Every year they look younger and younger."
