Just steps from the Armani mecca on Via Manzoni, a two-story store has opened that showcases the extent of the designer's home collection. Look for homewares and accessories including bed linens, lamps and porcelain with Giorgio Armani's trademark touches. Although his favorite color for interior decorating may be greige — his custom blend of gray and brown — this season, Armani Casa explores other hues. In the latest Maison de Charms collection are black and red lacquered pieces inspired by Chinese decor from the Twenties and Thirties.

The Right formula
In its first Milan signature store, Ferrari has managed to channel its famous Italian sports car into a glossy five-floor retail experience. The ninth prancing-horse store to open, it sells the Ferrari lifestyle, including trademark Formula 1 clothing, posters and luggage. On the shelves are items ranging from the mundane (red logo coffee cups) to the sleek (Ferrari-embossed skis). There's even a Ferrari fanatic's fantasy: mounted chrome engine parts selling for 30,000 euros, or about $36,500. Downstairs, there's a Formula 1 simulator, connected to a camera to capture the driver swooping around a racetrack corner just like the brand's champion, Michael Schumacher.
