Fashion darling Olivier Theyskens made his New York debut as Nina Ricci's creative director on Monday night, at where else, but The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Fitting for a designer whose creations are held in such high aesthetic esteem.
The fashion flock donned their black tie finest for a dinner held by Saks Fifth Avenue head Steve Sadove and Puig president Mario Grauso in the Charles Engelhard Court in the American Wing of the museum.
While some of the lovelies swanned around in Nina Ricci confections, many made due with fellow Puig-owned Carolina Herrera frocks—Renee Zellweger and Mariska Hargitay among them. There are just more to go around.
"I just arrived three hours ago on a flight from Greenville, and I knew this would fit," Renee Zellweger said of her fitted, strapless Carolina Herrera cocktail dress. "I am a fan of Olivier's though. I love the dresses he makes."
