“Do you want me to look into the camera or not? I never know what to do,” said a seemingly befuddled Mario Testino as fellow snappers took his picture at the launch party of his new book, “KIDS.”

The party, co-hosted by Testino, Elizabeth Hurley and Lady Helen Taylor to aid the Sargent Cancer Care for Children, was held at Dartmouth House in Mayfair, London.

Among the 350 guests were Valentino, Giancarlo Giammetti, Jemima Khan, Elizabeth Jagger, Matthew Williamson, Manolo Blahnik, Julien Macdonald, Christopher Bailey, Tamara Mellon, Patrick Cox, Jemima French and Sadie Frost, sipping sherbet-colored cocktails. Actual children attended the event as well, including Elwood Guinness, Sam Shulman and Beatrix Beamon, dipping into open jars of candy during the evening.
