“It’s crazy in here,” said one guest as she watched Juicy founders Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor being besieged by camera-bearing fans.
“It’s a bit of Los Angeles and a bit of New York and just our own wackiness,” said Nash-Taylor of their bash, which also featured tables laden with towers of pastel macaroons, cupcakes and candies.
Among their fans were Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Sandra Bernhard, Molly Sims and even Noah Baumbach, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Sandy Hill and Martha Stewart. “I have about 300 [Juicy] dresses,” said Stewart.
“Oh, she wears them,” attested a friend.
Gina Gershon also has a closet full of Juicy — perhaps because she has known Skaist-Levy since they were both 15. “Being an old friend has its perks,” she said, showing off her ostrich bolero. “People always think it’s Prada, but it’s Juicy.”
