PARIS — Hit a racy club for some pole dancing. Splurge on an extravagant photo book. And, for goodness sakes, eat something! It’s Paris, after all. Designers Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Christian Lacroix, Sonia Rykiel, Martine Sitbon, Gilles Rosier and Giambattista Valli of Emanuel Ungaro gave the following advice on how to live it up in the city of lights.

DRINK:

Sip a "delicious" Campari with orange juice and almonds at the Hôtel Costes. — Recommended by Rykiel.

239 Rue Saint-Honoré. Tel: 01 42 44 50 00.

What’s small, dark, lined in red velvet and nearly impossible to get into? It’s Mathis, a suave, pseudo-private lounge that attracts the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Lauren Bacall and Rupert Everett. — Recommended by Valli.

3 Rue Ponthieu. Tel: 01 53 76 01 62.

EAT:

Steps away from Le Flore is Yen (above), a minimalist temple of delicious Japanese soba noodles and friendly service. — Recommended by Lagerfeld.

22 Rue Saint-Benoît. Tel: 01 45 44 11 18.

Le Martel is a new Moroccan restaurant getting buzz. — Recommended by Sitbon.

3 Rue Martel. Tel: 01 47 70 67 56.

PARTY:

Cathy and David Guetta continue to stir up the night at the Moroccan restaurant Tanjia and the upscale strip joint Pink Platinum. David Guetta even has a new CD: "Just A Little More Love." — Recommended by Galliano.

Tanjia: 23 Rue Ponthieu. Tel: 01 42 25 95 00.

Pink Platinum: 49-51 Rue Ponthieu. Tel: 01 58 36 19 20.

SEE:

Isamu Noguchi’s sculptures are on display (right) at the Japan Cultural Center (Maison de la Culture du Japon). — Recommended by Valli and Rosier.

101 bis Quai Branley. Tel: 01 44 37 95 00.

The Matisse-Picasso exhibition at the Grand Palais, which documents a great artistic rivalry. — Recommended by Rykiel.
