With nary a break in the social schedule in sight, expectant mums like Rachel Roy, Samantha Boardman Rosen and Celerie Kemble realize that when it comes to fashion, there can be no such thing as a pregnant pause. It's a good thing, then, that the latest runway styles need no alteration to be bump-friendly. "The current trend of volume and high waists is a lucky break," sighs Kemble, who at nearly six months along is sticking to "regular" clothes. Nor are they prepared to sacrifice an iota of their personal style — take Boardman Rosen's bold pink Oscar de la Renta gown (worn right off the rack) or Roy's eye-catching coats. Clearly, these fashion-forward moms-to-be believe that nobody puts baby in the corner.
