"It's hard not to complain," sighed Debra Messing, ruminating on the tough times. "But I know how lucky we all are, so I am so excited to be here today." Clearly, there are worse ways to spend one's time than sipping Champagne at a two-hour-plus luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where In Style and the Diamond Information Center's held their annual pre-Globes red carpet style celebration. Jewelers such as Neil Lane and Martin Katz mingled with loyal fans like Messing, Maria Bello and Nancy Davis, plus newcomers Freida Pinto, Emily Van Kamp and Miss Golden Globe, Rumer Willis.
