The turnout included Revlon president Jerry Levin. Actor Pierce Brosnan hosted the event, which attracted Lilly Tartikoff, a founder of the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program -- one of the beneficiaries of the event -- Fox's Lucie Salhany, Sally Fields and numerous TV personalities.
A large number of the 8,000 participants ran to honor loved ones who had battled the diseases. Many wore simple black or gray cotton leggings with official event T-shirts. The more daring women opted for skin-tight bodysuits or sport bras with hip-hugger shorts in shades of pink, red and purple. The Adidas look was also prevalent in white-striped pants, basketball-style tank tops and shorts and V-neck jerseys.
Also benefiting from the event was the Wellness Community and the Iris Cantor Center for Breast Imaging.
