Chair Donna Karan arrived with a burgeoning fashionista in tow: four-year-old granddaughter Stefania de Felice, who had styled herself with her grandmother's beaded necklaces. "This is better than Madison Avenue, isn't it?" said Karan as she surveyed the scene.

Kelly Ripa filled a lengthy shopping list for her producers and her husband, Marc Consuelos, and in the evening recovered at a cocktail party and dinner at Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld's East Hampton house, which also drew co-host James Ferragamo; his sister, Vivia; Narciso Rodriguez; Sarah Jessica Parker; Alexandra Wentworth; a late-arriving Ellen Barkin and Bryan Lourd, and a slew of moms-to-be. "I just wanted to welcome you to the number-one celebrity party pad in America, according to OK magazine," joked Jerry Seinfeld before the dinner celebrating the Baby Buggy Infant Gear Fund and Ferragamo's children's book, "Fiera."

There was a world chic-animal theme, which many of the attendees took to heart, including a man walking around with a fake iguana on his shoulder and another who was wearing a turban.
