It's the time of year when the weather outside can be frightful. So everyone — even celebs and socialites — must dress accordingly. There are those who try to maintain their personal style, à la Kate Hudson, who battled arctic Manhattan winds with a shearling coat over a minidress. Others, like Madonna, favor big hats, patterned scarves and even moon boots. But some forgo fashion altogether. Take Heidi Klum, who opted for an oversize black parka and, for her daughter, a psychedelic ski suit, or Hudson's mom, Goldie Hawn, in head-to-toe fur. Whatever their tactics, one thing's for sure: These elites are ready to let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
