Prince Charles is visiting Paris on Wednesday. It's strictly official and he'll have no time for friends like Loulou de Waldner. His main reason is to attend, as patron, a concert given by the Philarmonia Orchestra. During the day he'll drop in on the British businesses at the Carrousel de Louvre like the Virgin Megastore and The Body Shop, and will join President Mitterrand for a brief chat.
It must be Vera Wang's year. First she dresses Nancy Kerrigan for the Olympics, then she dresses Penelope Ann Miller for the Golden Globes. Now it looks like she'll be dressing Holly Hunter for the Oscars. Hunter saw a Wang creation at Fred Hayman in Beverly Hills and asked the designer to make the same dress for her in a petite size. Marisa Tomei has also been fitted in a Wang dress for her role as a presenter at the Oscars.
