Film, fashion and art converged Thursday night at the Bowery Hotel, where Chanel threw its 2nd annual dinner in honor of the Tribeca Film Festival’s artist program.

Kerry Washington was there as a festival juror, Anna Paquin was there representing her film "Blue State", and Diane Kruger headed straight for the bar representing girls who just want to have fun. The actress doesn’t have a film in the fest (just a contract with Chanel), and she is shooting in South Dakota through the summer. “I’m hoping to get a sailboat in August and just sail away for vacation,” she said.

Guests including Andre Balazs, Serena Boardman, Anne and Mario Grauso, Rachel Roy and Amy Sacco sipped Champagne through a cocktail hour that seemed to last a long time. “I’m starving. When are we going to eat?” asked Jeanne-Claude. “The music’s too loud, it’s too dark, we were thinking of going home, but that wouldn’t be polite.”
