Kim Vernon invited 30 of her nearest and dearest to new West Village boite Bobo Wednesday night to celebrate the autumn solstice—in 85 degree weather, no less. Guests including Alex Kramer, Serena Altschul, Olivia Chantecaille, Allison Sarofim and Yvonne Force Villareal took advantage of the balmy evening and extended cocktail hour into cocktail hours with cigarettes and Champagne on the garden patio. Dinner was served inside the townhouse-cum-eatery, on the second floor, which has eggshell-blue walls, half a dozen shelves weighty in wine bottles, a faux fireplace, a honeycomb bookcase and vintage photos on the walls. But the chestnut soup and roasted chicken served as only a brief intermission before guests retreated back onto the terrace for more partying.
