WWD: What’s the best thing about Sundance?
Keri Russell: My “plus one” is Amanda Foreman, who’s a really good friend of mine, and she’s in “Happy Endings.” It’s much more fun to come with a friend.
Erika Christensen: It’s my first Sundance, so I love running into people I don’t expect to see. At the airport, it’s like, “You’re here? You’re here? We’re all here!” And randomly grabbing rides with people on the street because every car is stuffed with someone you know.
Evan Rachel Wood: It’s nice to be here with a movie you’re proud of, and to work with people you don’t hate.
WWD: What’s the best freebie you got?
K.R.: I really liked the Rock & Republic jeans with the boot cut and this Momo conditioner. It’s the really rich, natural stuff, and it’s so thick you can use it as lotion. It smells so good (sniffing her wrist).
E.R.W.: The iPod I got at the WireImage tent and the digital camera.
WWD: What movie comes to mind when you think of Joan Allen?
K.R.: “The Contender.” I think it’s really cool that she’s not 20 years old and that she’s gorgeous and beautiful and now looks better than ever.
E.C.: Yeah, “The Contender” really embodies her and shows all the dignity and integrity she has in her work.
E.R.W.: “Searching for Bobby Fischer” and “Pleasantville.”
