ROLLING STONES: “I thought it was out of a film set. I couldn’t believe it was real,” said Solange Azagury-Partridge of her first visit to Rodeo Drive around a decade ago. It definitely was real Tuesday night, when the London-based jeweler celebrated the opening of her 864-square-foot store on the famed retail thoroughfare with a disco-themed affair. The aura readings in the store, mirror ball-festooned black tent out back reverberating with thumping beats and, of course, the colorful baubles brought out Shiva Rose, Zelda Williams, Brad Goreski, Jennifer Meyer Maguire, Jennifer Tilly, Lucy Punch, Gela Nash-Taylor and Liberty Ross, the face of Solange Azagury-Partridge’s advertising campaign. Ross said one of the brand’s ads on a Sunset Boulevard billboard is getting her noticed at her children’s school. “It’s nice to be back on Sunset because the last billboard I had on Sunset was Armani six years ago,” she said. “Suddenly, all these moms who have never spoken to me before say, ‘Are you on Sunset?’ and I say, ‘Well, yes actually.’”
