Despite a packed week of men’s wear and couture shows in Paris, guests at the annual Sidaction charity gala were brimming with new projects.

Mélanie Laurent, dressed in a sleek black Maxime Simoens dress, said she had just begun editing on her second feature film, “Respire,” due out in October. “It’s a passionate, dangerous and spellbinding story about two 18-year-old girls the year they graduate from high school,” she teased.
