Mulberry held its semi-annual Bungalow One party Tuesday night at the Chateau Marmont. Kate Bosworth, Kelly Osbourne, Gia Coppola and a blue jean-clad, under-30 crowd gathered poolside for the affair, but they soon caught wind of the “Mad Men” premiere occurring across the way. “I love ‘Mad Men.’ Do you think Jon Hamm will come by? We should go scope it out,” said “90210’s” Jessica Stroup to her co-star Shenae Grimes.
The plea fell on deaf ears, since Grimes was more interested in the shaggy-haired dudes surrounding her than the three-piece suits across the way. “We have boys and glitter leopards here. What more could you want,” she said. In fact, a randy Matthew Rhys and several others attempted to ride the plexiglass cats.
But in the end, it was Alexa Chung manning the turntables that attracted a few curious “Mad Men” guests, including Rich Sommer, who plays Harry Crane. “Heard there was another party over here I needed to check out,” he said sheepishly.
