WILD THINGS: On Wednesday night, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation hosted its inaugural fundraising gala Saint–Tropez, netting more than $25 million. The American actor and film director established the foundation in 1998 to protect the last wild places on earth.

Bono, Marion Cotillard, Jared Leto, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, Robin Thicke, Julian Lennon and Joan Collins were among VIPs at the event, which included a live action conducted by Simon de Pury.

Bono and DiCaprio auctioned off their own guitar and Harley-Davidson motorcycle, respectively, while businessman Len Blavatnik bought a Damien Hirst sculpture for $6 million.

“We truly admire Leo and his sensibility for such an important cause,” said Dsquared2 designer Dean Caten, who attended the event with his twin brother Dan, calling it a “fantastic wild night.”

Private Swiss bank Julius Baer and jewelry company Chopard sponsored the event.
