London was in the mood to party on Monday night, at the end of the first day of the London Collections: Men shows, as a crowd assembled at the newly done-up Rosewood Hotel for potent Johnnie Walker Gold Label cocktails and a lively DJ set from Boy George (“Pump Up The Jam” went down a treat).

E.Tautz designer Patrick Grant, dressed down in a gray tee and jeans, was among the crew of designers present, including Rake’s Clive Darby and Oliver Spencer. Robert Konjic, David Gandy, Dermot O’Leary, Zara Martin and Tracey Emin were also among the throng.

Well meaning intentions for “dry-athlon” were abandoned by actors Kit Harington, Luke Treadaway and Luke Evans. “Tonight’s my night out,” said Harrington. “Tomorrow is my brother John’s 30th birthday, so I’ll be celebrating then too. Dry January can start on Wednesday.”

LC:M ambassador and rapper Tinie Tempah was fresh off the plane from the Maldives, where he had spent  the New Year. “I am feeling so blissed out, man,” he told WWD. “We stayed at the Six Senses and really unwound. The new album came out in November so it was all about relaxing before touring starts this year to promote that.”
