“I haven’t been the face of anything other than me before,” Emily Blunt said at the Cinema Society & Opium Yves Saint Laurent screening of “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” Thursday night at the Crosby Street Hotel. Blunt is the new face of the fragrance, and she also raved about the brand’s color cosmetics, leading her co-star Ewan McGregor to chime in, “I think Emily is an amazing actress regardless of the makeup she wears.”
The screening drew the likes of Debbie Harry, Patricia Clarkson, Helena Christensen, Noah Baumbach, Joshua Bell, Amy Sacco, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and writer of “Fishing” Simon Beaufoy. “For me to work in the Highlands, where I’m from, has been very dear to my heart,” said McGregor.
