VENICE — L'Uomo Vogue held a party Friday night at Francois Pinault's Palazzo Grassi, sponsored by Gucci Group. Naomi Campbell made quite an entrance with her Russian billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin and his huge bodyguards.
"Does he need them to protect himself from Naomi?" chuckled one guest, alluding to the supermodel's notorious anger issues.
Maria Buccellati, a pregnant Beatrice Trussardi, footwear designer René Caovilla, Ennio Capasa, Renzo Rosso, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Angela and Margherita Missoni, Lapo Elkann and girlfriend Bianca Brandolini d'Adda mingled on the dance floor. And, at midnight on the dot, in a reverse Cinderella tale, a real-life princess, Charlotte Casiraghi, also joined the ball.
