Charity One Frickin Day had one hell of a night on Friday at Christie’s. The organization, which was co-founded by Elettra Wiedemann and promotes solar energy, brought Champagne, a DJ and enough models for two Chanel shows to the auction house for a party to preview “Model Behavior,” a collection of gowns once owned or worn by famous mannequins including Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington. The dresses are for sale on Charity Buzz to benefit OFD’s ongoing partnership with The Solar Electric Light Fund and Partners in Health. Which is good news for those with the body of Elle Macpherson, but not so much for the rest of us.
