On Monday night, Barneys New York hosted a dinner on the NoMad Hotel’s roof terrace on the occasion of Rag & Bone’s recently launched handbag. A handful of editors and friends of the brand, including Rachel Zoe, Craig McDean, Hilary Rhoda, Julianne Moore and Trish Goff trickled by as waiters passed hors d’oeuvres and slightly modified Pimm’s Cups.
Linda Evangelista chatted up Rag & Bone’s Marcus Wainwright and David Neville and posed for photographers with a bright blue version of the bag, dubbed the “Pilot,” slung over her shoulder, hands-free style.
“She’s a dear friend of ours, and we’re actually next-door neighbors, which is actually kind of funny,” Neville said. “Linda was saying this is the second time I’ve ever seen her with makeup on, which is clearly not true…”
