COLOR ME GREEN: Kure Bazaar, the eco-friendly nail polish brand created by Brazilian model Kartika Luyet, has a pop-up nail bar in Le Bon Marché department store.

After she noted the damage caused by some nail polishes and their toxic nature, Luyet opted to concoct product formulas containing 85 percent natural ingredients.

The Kure Bazaar nail bar’s service menu includes an ecological manicure for 25 euros, or $31.50 at current exchange, and an ecological pedicure for 35 euros, or $44.15. A choice of 27 colors may be used, and each bottle of nail polish retails for 16 euros, or $20.20.

The nail bar will run until July 31, but other ephemeral locations have already sprung up in Berlin, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Madrid, Milan, and Tokyo. — Dari Goldman
