Who needs Halloween when you have the Jazz Age Lawn Party? The seventh annual festival took place over the weekend on New York’s Governors Island, where nearly 3,000 revelers got decked out in their most fabulous Twenties costumes and gathered for elaborate picnics, live music, dancing and, of course, snapping photos of one another. This year’s crowd did the decade to perfection — from their boater hats right down to their spectator shoes, with plenty of high-waisted trousers, flaring printed dresses and vintage maillots mixed in for a hearty dose of old-fashioned fun.
