This year’s 2010 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists gathered at Anna Wintour’s house Wednesday night to reveal the looks they created for this year’s challenge: workwear, inspired by Ann Taylor. The designers arrived with their muses — mostly models like Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls — who were dressed in smart pantsuits and stylish shifts. Not that these girls know what it is to work a 9-to-5. The closest Coco Rocha ever got to an office gig was her appointment to secretary in high school. “When I was young, I wanted a desk job so badly,” said Rocha, who is now relieved to have avoided that fate. “Although sometimes I’d prefer [a 9-to-5 schedule] for planning,” she said.
