Battle of the Dress: Marc Jacobs vs. Seth Meyers

Seth Meyers got some laughs at the CFDA Awards by going near-nude a la Marc Jacobs, but who really wore it best?

CFDA Awards host Seth Meyers got the laugh of the night Monday when he strode onstage in the same sheer Comme des Garçons shirtdress and visible underwear Marc Jacobs had audaciously donned to the Costume Institute gala a month before.

“More fun when I put it on than I thought it would be,” Meyers told WWD after the awards ceremony.

“It really was comfortable,” said the comedian, who by then had changed into a neatly cut Patrick Ervell suit. “It was more comfortable than a tuxedo. I can understand why he did it.”

Jokes and comfort levels aside, what would a fashion moment like this be without judgment?
