Long before she set Dorothy on the yellow brick road as Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, and anxiously flit around as a society mom hosting "Dinner for Eight," Billie Burke made the pages of WWD. The December 23, 1927 issue included a portrait of the actress showcasing a holiday turban "made of holly leaves and berries with an earlap effect of mistletoe."
