The foundation has partnered with the Young Survival Coalition, with sales of the $75 polo shirt Ralph Lauren designed for FTBC and Net-a-porter.com last year benefitting YSC when accessed through Youngsurvival.org. The site will feature a link to Net-a-porter.com, and $50 of each of those sales will go to YSC, with the rest benefiting FTBC.
The partnership offers another facet to Net-a-porter.com's yearlong collaboration with the FTBC, which went live in September. The luxury e-tailer has created a special microsite devoted to the program, which, in addition to the polo shirts, is offering a limited edition Oscar de la Renta embellished floral print silk kaftan for $2,390 and a Sass & Bide tie-dye tank dress for $170.
The YSC, founded 10 years ago, is an international nonprofit network of breast cancer survivors and supporters. It has a special focus on helping young women affected by breast cancer and advocates for more research in that field.
"This support will help us carry out our mission, to increase the quality and quantity of life for young women affected by breast cancer," said Lanita Moss, president of YSC.
