“This time we’re using less makeup than ever before,” said makeup artist Pat McGrath. (And that’s for a house whose runway models traditionally sport next to no color cosmetics.) For the fall beauty look, McGrath groomed models’ eyebrows and only used minute amounts of makeup, according to need — virtually equivalent to “no makeup at all,” she said, “really, not a stitch. It’s very simple, very clean and very gorgeous.”
Also at Stella McCartney, hairstylist Eugene Souleiman said he had models’ hair thrown into buns to create texture and then let loose for a natural feeling.
“It’s gorgeous, sexy, freshly washed, luxurious hair,” he added.
