Sears CEO Aylwin Lewis Steps Down

W. Bruce Johnson named interim chief as retailer sets search for new CEO.

Sears Holdings Corp. said Aylwin B. Lewis, president and chief executive officer, will leave the company Feb. 2. He will also step down as a board member.

W. Bruce Johnson, executive vice president of supply chain and operations, was named interim ceo.

"Sears will immediately commence a formal search to identify a permanent chief executive officer," the company said in a statement.
