Danish fashion chain Bestseller reported that annual revenues surged 17 percent to 1.4 billion euros, or $2 billion, and pretax profit rose 26 percent to 275 million euros, or $396 million, for the year ended July 31.

- FASHION IN DENMARK: Danish fashion chain Bestseller reported that annual revenues surged 17 percent to 1.4 billion euros, or $2 billion, and pretax profit rose 26 percent to 275 million euros, or $396 million, for the year ended July 31. Financial results released last week include operations in Europe, Canada and the Middle East, and exclude business in China, where Bestseller owns or franchises about 1,800 stores. The Brande, Denmark-based company designs and sells apparel for women, men and children under the labels ONLY, Vero Moda, Jack Jones and Mama-licious, among others.
