NEW YORK — Nail polish brand China Glaze, a division of American International Industries, has partnered with studio powerhouse Lionsgate to create a collection of nail polish to debut in conjunction with the March 23 release of the feature film “The Hunger Games.”
The nail polish collection will be inspired exclusively by one of the book’s distinct settings: the Capitol of the fictional nation of Panem. Awash in lavish fashion, food and entertainment, the citizens of the Capitol enjoy extreme cosmetics and body modifications, bold wigs and outlandish costumes.
The collection of colors, still in development, will be available at specialty beauty retailers beginning March 1. China Glaze is free of DBP, toluene, and added formaldehyde.
