ICP Reports 9.5 Percent Revenue Uptick in 2007

International Cosmetics & Perfumes posted revenues of $23 million last year, a 9.5 percent increase from $21 million in 2006.

International Cosmetics & Perfumes posted revenues of $23 million last year, a 9.5 percent increase from $21 million in 2006.

The privately held, New York-based firm, which markets Creed and Hanae Mori fragrances in the U.S., as well as Beauty By Clinica Ivo Pitanguy Skin Care, attributed growth to new products and marketing initiatives for its brands.

"We are pleased to have succeeded — despite the weakening economy — [in] providing our retail partners and consumers with products and approaches that in any year would be seen as uniquely compelling and desirable," stated Emmanuel Saujet, chief executive officer of ICP.

Bestsellers within the Creed fragrance portfolio, which includes more than 40 scents carried at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and select Saks Fifth Avenue stores, included Virgin Island Water, Original Santal, Love in White and Original Vetiver.

ICP also noted that a new limited edition Hanae Mori fragrance called Butterfly Eau Fraiche is currently being rolled out, as are six products for the body from Clinica Ivo Pitanguy.
