The beauty look was inspired by Eugene Von Bruenchenhein's Fifties photographs of his wife. James Boehmer for Nars translated the surrealist Fifties prints by creating a red-orange lip and an opalescent eye, while Odile Gilbert for Kérastase fashioned a tiny braid at the nape of the neck to serve as an anchor for a faux barrette made out of a twisted strand of hair.
